Plain but great service and delicious food.

Very nice inn. Nice friendly staff. Good cook therefore good tasty food. We felt very comfortable here and can therefore unreservedly recommend this inn.

Food could taste very good can only be served a little warmer. The wine accompaniment to the five-course menu was poor, price and performance are OK. We'll be back there again.

We were there once with a quite large group and were served very well, friendly, attentive and also quite quickly. The main courses all came more or less at the same time and everything was as good as expected. The wines were very good and went well with the meal and the advice regarding the wines was also very competent.

Again a culinary delight (: The staff is great and the food is amazing. The meat is fried to the point and has a perfect taste. I recommend the pumpkin cream soup as a starter, which is by far the best I've ever eaten. Kudos to the kitchen and service. See you soon (:

One of the few restaurants where we like to eat regularly since and despite the Corona. The food is absolutely great and always delicious! You can sit comfortably in the beer garden or inside, and you will always be greeted and served very nicely. Once when it was very full, it took a little longer. Since we had time and were there to enjoy, that didn't bother us. We can recommend 'Zum Taunus' without reservation! And the various guests, whether young or old, who we invited to the inn, have always been enthusiastic. The restaurant team has just put a menu on the menu -> try the 5 courses right away! :)

There were five of us eating at the inn. The food is of perfect quality, very tasty, beautifully presented and pricelessly impeccable. The service could be improved. There is probably a "head waiter" who is very competent and courteous. The other employees are unfortunately very unsure of the menu and wines. Desserts were not known, as was the selection of white wines, the "head waiter" was called every time.

There are high quality dishes prepared by regional producers! Today we made a reservation because we saw a video on Facebook that showed shopping at Waldhof Nierderseelbach. We know the farm and the owner of the farm, Nils Faigle, personally. And there were two kinds of Galloway in the Gasthaus zum Taunus, with starters and desserts. What can I say, great food, great service and the price was right. We will be back !!

Excellent cuisine and great service! It is a home-style restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. We were received and served very friendly. Recommendations on the day menu and the menu are varied and not too numerous. There are Hessian specialties, some of the meat is from the region. The preparation was very appealing and the food was sensational! If you want to eat well in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place for you! Clear recommendation! I was definitely not the last time here!

I was last night in the Gasthaus zum Taunus with my dear friends. Actually, I was very skeptical and thought that this place was not for Taunusstein. Too expensive, too withdrawn, etc. I was taught better. The place was fully booked, the food was wonderful and well worth the money. I was particularly surprised by the staff, all by the specialist. Friendly, helpful and always on hand. The managing director, although young, also stands out for his competence and friendliness. You can feel that people work here who love their job and therefore their guests. I will definitely go there for dinner again.

Since the new management took over there has been a dramatic change in service, food and ambiance! Absolutely fabulous!
